Coming home to our new centre
Please note: this event is for Order members and mitras only. Several other events will follow that are open to all!
Bring a plate of savoury finger food, and join us for this very special event to dedicate our new place of practice and rejoice in key people who made it possible!
Programme
Feel free to arrive from 4pm onwards and take a look around the centre. We will start in the shrine room promptly at 4.30pm.
- Welcome, short sit and dedication ceremony.
- Rejoicing in merits - including our architects Nicholas Stevens and James Hay, builder James Strachan and project administrator Rose McLean, all of whom will be joining us
- Tea and food break (think of it as an early light dinner - please bring a plate of savoury finger food to share)
- 7-fold puja
If you attended our closing ceremony at our old centre in Grey Lynn in May 2023, remember to bring your kauri gum. There will be an opportunity to ritually return it during the evening.
We'll aim to finish by 8.30pm at the latest.
