Open men's retreat

On the five spiritual faculties

Collage of photos - men meditating, reading, hanging out outdoors

An open men’s retreat contemplating the Five Spiritual Faculties in the context of meditation, puja and good company.

The Five Spiritual Faculties arise as the fruit and benefit of a mature Buddhist practice reflected in ethical behaviour, calming of the mind and insight as to the way things are.

Each day will begin with a triple meditation at 6.30am. There will be four meditation sessions a day with ritual puja in the evening. There will be good periods of silence but also time for communication, bush walks or just hanging out by the river.

We have a comfortable well appointed library as a retreat day room and excellent heating throughout.

Be there or be square.
