Men's ordination training

by invitation only

'Only when a man feels strongly will he act effectively'

Ordination within the Triratna Buddhist Order consists, essentially, in Going for Refuge to the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. The ceremony of ordination consists in the witnessing of your 'effective Going for Refuge' by senior members of the Order. Your entire ordination training will be orientated towards deepening your Going for Refuge to the point where Order members can say that it is 'effective', in all aspects of your life.

This retreat will be led by senior members of the Triratna Buddhist Order who are regularly involved with men's training for ordination activities.

If you are a GFR mitra within the wider international Triratna Buddhist community and wish to attend this GFR retreat in NZ, please email Guhyasiddhi (guhyasid@ihug[dot]co[dot]nz) to inquire.
