World problems

A Buddhist view and response

Planet earth in dark space

Compassion is the mettaful response to suffering and is central to the Dharma. We may have some understanding of it in relation to our personal lives, but what does it mean in relation to global problems like war, climate change and racial violence?

How can we find a response that is truly Buddhist and at the same time adequate to the enormity of the problems that we collectively face?

On this weekend seminar we'll explore these questions and look at how we can find a response to world problems for ourselves.

Lunch provided on Saturday and Sunday. We invite you to bring something sweet to share on one of the days.
