Welcoming new Order members

Three Order members returning from their ordination retreats

We welcome Akashasimha (ex- Michael), Maitrivadin (ex-Mark) and Vajradhi (ex-Amanda) back from their ordination retreats, where they entered the Triratna Buddhist Order.

The evening is a celebration of the deep commitment these three have made to their Dharma lives and living them within our Buddhist tradition. We'll hear their new names, given at ordination, and something of their meaning. Their preceptors will rejoice in one or two of their fine qualities. And we'll also hear from Saradaya, Vasudhara and Purna - all at different stages on the post-ordination journey - about what they expected after ordination and what has actually unfolded. This will give us all a sense of the unfolding path we are all on.

And importantly, of course, we'll share cake!

If you can, please bring a small plate of finger food for tea and treats around 8pm.
