A weekend of body-based practice at the centre, giving us time to really settle into a sense of groundedness and simplicity.
We'll also work on some practices that help us remain gently present in the midst of difficulty, whether that's physical difficulty (like pain) or emotionally charged situations. (Please note this weekend is not suitable if you are currently triggered into a trauma response when asked to bring your attention into the body - eg in the body scan.)
We will have small doses of conceptual input, but this is really an opportunity to experience the benefits of extended periods of mindfulness and body-based awareness: refined energy, calm, groundedness, clarity and an appreciation of simplicity, among others.
These non-residentials are best suited to regulars at the ABC who have already learned our foundation meditation practices - the mindfulness of breathing and metta bhavana.
We come together Friday night, Saturday morning and Sunday morning. We ask participants to commit to all three sessions.
Bookings close 12pm Thursday 8 October.
$85 / $130
If you'd like to attend but money is tight, contact us as we'd love to have you join us anyway.
Before attending, please read our current Covid Guidelines. This is part of how we practice together.
