Margo passed away on Saturday morning the 16th of July. She had been steadily slipping away for some time, and in her final week had stopped eating, and suffered a fall that resulted in a head injury. She was apparently not in any noticeable discomfort, and passed away in her sleep.
We are having a ritual ceremony at Auckland Buddhist Centre to celebrate Margo's life, to which you are warmly invited if you knew Margo, whose commitment to the Dharma endured to her last days.
Below is the order of events on Wednesday 19 October:
1:30 Centre opens
2.00 Three-Fold Puja, including a short meditation, a reading, offerings, and a mantra, plus some words from those who would like to speak
2:30 Refreshments
