‘Loving kindness which is freedom of heart… it glows, it shines, it blazes forth.’
Join us on a retreat celebrating kindness, love and bodhicitta – central qualities to the Buddhist path and central qualities to our founder Sangharakshita’s teaching.
Vidyamala and Sona are with us from the UK for quite possibly the last time, and will be joined by Suvarnadhi and Ratnavyuha on this urban retreat. It will be an opportunity to explore different ways to awaken your heart to boundless and luminous love.
Taking the Karaniya Metta Sutta as the foundational text, there will be talks from different team members each day, ritual and devotion, meditation and groups.
This is a hybrid event with a mix of in person and online elements. Over the weekend, we'll come together at the beautiful Blockhouse Bay Boat Club for a half day introduction and whole day immersion session. From Monday - Thursday, we'll have three shorter online sessions together each day (kind of like breakfast, lunch and dinner). On the last day, there's an option to come together again at the Blockhouse Bay Boat Club, or simply join online. (Note: there's an option to join the entire retreat online only - please register here instead.)
