Fundraising launch / 108 year puja
Celebrating the founder of our community and Order, Sangharakshita, and his inspiration to flourish
Every year since 2004 we have held a collective ritual across the international Triratna Buddhist Community to celebrate our founding teacher's birthday.
This year, as well as the traditional puja, we'll be launching a project that will transform our concrete-floored, unheated space into a beautiful Buddhaland.
Last year we didn't have a centre to celebrate in. Now we have a building and a vision for its transformation.
Come along for a 3pm start when Muditanandi will take us on a journey from the centre's past to its present. Then we'll hear about the vision for a beautiful, functional and thriving centre that benefits all who enter its doors. There will be a celebratory afternoon tea followed by the 108-year puja.
