Devotional ritual is a practice that can help us overcome that sense of self-limitation. It is a full practice in itself, and the best way to get an understanding of what it's about is to try it, and then try it again! There are monthly opportunities to do this at the Auckland Buddhist Centre.

Many significant moments in the Buddha's life occurred on a full moon, which is why it is considered a meaningful and fortunate time in Buddhism.
