Dharma Mondays

Come and join us on Monday nights for a Dharma talk followed by a meditation sit

Shakyamuni Buddha

Dharma night is suitable for those who are familiar with our meditation practices and would like to learn more about Buddhism. It is also a popular night for Sangha to drop in and practice together. If you are a beginner but can't get to/or have just started one of our meditation classes you are still welcome to come and join in.

Current Theme: Sangharakshita's Five Stages of the System of Dharma Life

This series will explore a practical path to Enlightenment using the Triranta Buddhist community's five stages of Dharma life: integration, positive emotion, spiritual death, rebirth and spiritual receptivity. Each of these stages will be presented by a different Order member, leaving us with a richer and clearer understanding of the Buddha's path to Awakening. And hopefully giving us some reflections on how we can introduce such practices into our day-to-day lives.

To intensely imagine the Buddha is to participate, to some extent, in the workings of the awakened mind. We are part of the grandeur and mystery of what is. With Purna
