This series of five evenings will be personal reflections on how to improve certain areas of our lives with practical insights from the Buddhist tradition. These might be practices, aphorisms, everyday mindfulness tips, or suggested ways to cultivate more positive emotional responses to situations and other people. We have two speakers on each of the first four nights, with a different major topic each night. Ending on the fifth and last evening with a panel discussion where we will be fielding questions from the audience.
On this third evening Akampiya and Helen Clack will be will be sharing some personal reflections and insights on how the Dharma helps them in their family life.
Dharma night is suitable for those who would like to learn more about Buddhism. It is also a popular night for regular friends to drop in and practice together. If you are a beginner but can't get to/or have just started one of our meditation classes, you are still welcome to come and join in.
The usual program for these evenings is a talk on some aspect of Buddhism followed by a tea break and a group meditation to end the evening.
