Dharma Monday

Perfect livelihood and perfect effort

Yellow Buddha

We will continue on this night with our theme on the Noble Eightfold Path. This is the most widely known of the Buddha's teachings. It is ancient, extending back to the Buddha's very first dicourse, and is highly valued as a unique treasury of wisdom and practical guidance on how to live our lives.

On this evening Mark Templeton and Sarah Guppy, two Triratna mitras, will be sharing their reflections on perfect livelihood and perfect effort.

Dharma night is suitable for those who would like to learn more about Buddhism. It is also a popular night for regular friends to drop in and practice together. If you are a beginner but can't get to/or have just started one of our meditation classes, you are still welcome to come and join in.

The usual program for the evening is a talk on some aspect of Buddhism, tea break, then group meditation to end the evening.
