Dharma Monday

Perfect action and truthful, kind, helpful and harmonious speech

Yellow Buddha

This will be the second evening in our series on the Noble Eightfold Path.

Erica Law will begin with an overview of the Buddha's teachings on Right Action (Perfect Action) and will also share her own reflections on the topic and how she personally tries to put those teachings into practice.

Guhyasiddhi will show us how 'Nonviolent Communication (NVC)' or 'Compassionate Communication' provides a useful guide to practicing the speech precepts of truthful, kind, helpful and harmonious speech.

Dharma night is suitable for those who would like to learn more about Buddhism. It is also a popular night for regular friends to drop in and practice together. If you are a beginner but can't get to/or have just started one of our meditation classes, you are still welcome to come and join in.

The usual program for the evening is a talk on some aspect of Buddhism, tea break, then group meditation to end the evening.
