Dancing in the Dark

Come join us as we dance to a mix of uplifting music at the Auckland Buddhist Centre!

Dancing Dakini

We often use meditation, quiet and stillness as ways to connect with our inner wisdom. So what would it be like to apply our mindfulness practice to moving our bodies surrounded by loud music?

We'll be dancing in the dark so you can relax and let the music get you moving, and tap into the quiet corners of your heart and see what insights might arise. Or just have fun! Mindfulness doesn't have to be serious and robotic, unless you want to do your best robot dance impersonation of course!

7pm - 9pm, includes one hour of dancing followed by tea and light refreshments
Saturday 9th November 2024

Dress code: Dress to impress or for comfort. Wear shoes you can dance in (the floor's a bit rough on bare feet and socks).
