Body like a mountain, heart like the ocean

An antidote to the silly season

Lion with his eyes closed and head raised majestically to the sky

A very simple non-residential retreat from the "silly season".

What do we need at this time of year? Usually a breather. To come deeply into our senses. To have time and space to connect to what is deepest (or highest) within us.

We're going to practice in ways that help bring us fully home to our bodies and our hearts. Deep exploration of the breath and body through relaxed meditation and gentle movement. Metta bhavana. And some simple devotional rituals with mantra to help get us out of our heads and connected to something deeper within and without.

Schedule some afternoon naps at home during this non-residential retreat!

Suitable for those who have already learned the mindfulness of breathing and metta bhavana practices.
