Beginners meditation retreat

Cultivating a calm and positive mind

man on rock

This retreat is an introduction to both the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana meditation practices through which we can develop calmer, more concentrated and positive states of mind.

A retreat to concentrate the mind and warm the heart that is suitable for both beginners and practitioners needing to bring their meditation to life.

There are many things in life that are beyond our control. However, it is possible to take responsibility for our own states of mind – and to change them for the better.

Meditation is a means of transforming the mind. Buddhist meditation practices are techniques that encourage and develop concentration, clarity, emotional positivity, and a calm seeing of the true nature of things. With regular work and patience these states of mind can deepen and have a transformative effect on our lives.
