Please join us for the first in a series of pujas celebrating the archetypal Buddhas of the five-Jina mandala.
We are completing a very long journey, and are using the mythic theme of entering the mandala as we re-inhabit our new centre, now beautifully renovated. Each of the archetypal Buddhas is associated with, amongst other things, a time of day. Today, we have Akshobhya, associated with dawn, so that is when we are having the first puja of the series.
For those who have not attended one before, puja is a form of devotional ritual that is especially inspiring when done with others. When we take an opportunity to gather and let go into the beauty of the shrine, mantra, readings, offerings and collective practice, we can experience a kind of spiritual uplift that is often difficult to describe.
Open to everyone - if you're new, feel free to just soak up the atmosphere in our beautiful new centre, and simply participate to the degree you wish to.
