During this weekend at Bella Rakha we will be exploring the direct experience of life. We will also use this precious opportunity to look more closely at some of our tightly held views and habits and see how we can create the best conditions for the taste of freedom to arise.
This taste can be found in opening to the richness in our every day lives, through stillness, meditation and reflecting and being receptive to what arises.
Sometimes what arises can lead us towards change, towards the unknown, towards stepping outside of what others expect of us. It can point towards more creative responses and ultimately towards the true nature of reality.
We will explore this and more on this open women's retreat.
'Last night my teacher taught me the lesson of poverty,
having nothing and wanting nothing.
I am a naked woman standing inside a mine of rubies,
clothed in red silk.
I absorb the shining and now I see the ocean,
billions of simultaneous motions moving in me.
A circle of lovely, quiet people
becomes the ring on my finger.
Then the wind and thunder of rain on the way.
I have such a teacher.'
