The Nature of Mind programme offers a wonderful opportunity for people from all over the world to virtually connect and explore the mind in all its mystery, using neuroscience, Buddhist thought and psychology. No prior experience necessary.
The programme will run for six months and you can attend as little or as much as you want.
Each month, there'll be a conversation between senior Buddhist teachers and leading people in scientific fields exploring the mind - neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry and beyond. There'll also be a week of meditation instruction led by a senior teacher within our Buddhist tradition. These events are online, and no experience in Buddhism or meditation is required. If you're interested in the mind, come along! Find out more at natureofmind.net
The first conversation happens on February 5 at 11am NZT with Iain McGilchrist, renowned psychiatrist and author of the Master and his Emissary.
