TONIGHT: Buddha of the south - Ratnasambhava
Tonight we welcome back Padmapushpa to introduce us to Ratnasambhva, the Buddha of the South. Ratnasambhava represents the jewel-like wisdom of the Buddha, the teachings of the Buddha, and the community of practitioners who follow his path.
Gold in colour, he illuminates the qualities of generosity and giving. He represents the ability to develop equanimity within ourselves and transforms greed and pride by seeing the potential in each of us to make spiritual progress equally.
Tonight Padmapushpa will discuss how she cultivates these and other qualities of Ratnasambhva in her life.
Wednesday nights are a place for people who have attended our foundation courses to come together and celebrate community as well as an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Buddha's teaching, and their understanding of how to practice it.
