TONIGHT: Buddha of the east Akshobhya

Tonight we welcome Akshobini to Sangha night to introduce us to her namesake, Akshobhya. Akshobhya represents “mirror wisdom” - being able to differentiate between what is real and what is an illusion, reflecting the nature of Reality itself.

Akshobiya is associated with the colour blue, and therefore water. Water is cool and calm, and is the antidote to fiery rage. Water is also flexible and agile and can adapt to changing conditions.

Tonight Akshobini will discuss how she cultivates these and other qualities of Akshobhya in her life.

Wednesday nights are a place for people who have attended our foundation courses to come together and celebrate community as well as an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Buddha's teaching, and their understanding of how to practice it.
