Sangha night

Awareness is Revolutionary - Reflections

Community pictures

For the last couple of months, we have been talking at Sangha Night about awareness, otherwise known as mindfulness, in its different contexts, aspects and applications in the Buddhist tradition.

Tonight is "reflections night" and, as is the tradition, we have invited two regular Sangha Night attendees to reflect on the series as they experienced it, and describe the points that stood out for them and the responses they evoked.

We are delighted that Jing Dao and Susan have agreed to be the reflectors for this session. By sharing their responses tonight, they will be taking us further into the theme, and we will also have the opportunity to share in small groups anything that came out of the reflections, or from the series as a whole.

Recordings of each of the talks in the series are published at https://aucklandbuddhistcentre.org/talks soon after each talk is given. (At least they are when we remember to record them).

Wednesday nights are a place for people to come together and celebrate community, deepen their knowledge of Buddhism, and their understanding of how to practice it. They are designed for those who have been coming to the centre for a little while. If you have had minimal contact with us, you are best to attend our Intro courses on Tuesday evenings first.
