Sangha night

Dinner & practice at the centre

Community pictures

The first Wednesday of each month, we unglue ourselves from our devices and meet at the centre. (For the rest of the month, we still meet online for sangha night.)

  • optional dinner at 6pm by koha (to make it easier to come straight from work etc - dhal & rice provided)
  • meditation and other shared practices begin at 7pm

Practice nights are an opportunity to take advantage of our physical presence to enhance our experience of mediation and devotional practice. There is a special magic when people meet in person, and that magic is amplified when it is engaged in practices that nourish our deepest selves. It is common to feel touched by something sacred in these circumstances and this is something that cannot be replicated online.

Wednesday nights are a place for people who have attended our foundation courses to come together and celebrate community as well as an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Buddha's teaching, and their understanding of how to practice it.
