We are starting the year with a series of brief talks by experienced practitioners, followed by questions and discussion. They will attempt to describe what it is they actually practice, how they practice it, and what effect it has had on their lives.
And by practice, we don't just mean meditation, though that is an important aspect of course. The term also covers ritual (puja), retreats (including solitary), study, reflection, spiritual friendship, creative pursuits and mindfulness in all its aspects.
Cittamuni kicks off the series with his reflections, to which you are encouraged to respond with questions or comments.
Wednesday nights are a place for people who have attended our foundation courses to come together and celebrate community, deepen their knowledge of Buddhism, and their understanding of how to practice it. They generally include a talk and discussion, a social cup of tea and meditation.
