Beauty and the Buddha

Ratnasambhava

Beauty and Sound with Malcolm Dow

Malcolm will introduce the practice of mantras and chanting. Mantras not only concentrate the mind on positive qualities to be attained, they also help the mind let go of stress and negative thinking. The regular practice of chanting mantras has been shown to reduce anxiety and depression. Malcolm will lead us in an evening of engaging with the beauty of sound as a gateway to deepening our spiritual practice.

Wednesday nights are a place for people who have attended our foundation courses to come together and celebrate community as well as an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Buddha's teaching.

Each evening will include a meditation, a short teaching and a chance to reflect with others on the meaning of the teaching for our lives.
