Sangha, spiritual community, can be described as a network of friendships based on what’s of most value. In the company of those committed to the Buddha’s teachings we can celebrate the Sangha Jewel.
This year Sangha Day will take the form of a picnic at Western Springs, close to the playground for those with kids. So dig out the sunhats and sunscreen, and come along for all or part of the time (10am to 1pm).
All welcome; bring your families and your picnic lunch, or food to share.
Where? Western Springs, 99 Motions Road; a short walk from the road,
wheelchair accessible. Meet at the picnic tables adjacent to the playground.
When? Sunday Nov 6th , 10-1pm. (If wet, meet at the Buddhist Centre in
Richmond Road for morning tea and activities.)
Please feel free to wear a mask.
