Join us for an evening of a cappella with Brava
Brava, an a capella vocal quartet was formed in January 2018.
Though the group is rather new, each classically trained member has enjoyed a long musical career performing solo and/or as duos, trios, or as a part of greater choir settings, etc. appearing in cultural events, corporate functions, charity concerts, competitions and lots more.
Their repertoire covers a wide range from opera arias and duets to theatre, art songs and Japanese pop music.
They bring a fun programme to the ABC with all-time favourite tunes from classical to modern eras such as Sound of Music, Love Me Tender, Sukiyaki etc., and you will no doubt be singing along!
This event is part of our Exploring the Arts programme where we get to know others in the sangha and community by coming together for aesthetic and cultural appreciation.
Please give generously on the night to help support the Auckland Buddhist Centre and you are very welcome to bring along a plate of vegetarian finger food to share with others.
