We are excited that Bhadra, a visiting Order Member from Bristol, is willing to offer at short notice, a workshop focusing on using increased awareness of the body to work directly with our samskaras which are at the root of so much of our suffering.
This is an opportunity to explore some key Buddhist teachings experientially. You will be invited to participate in simple led exercises, to just sit, simply witness, and if you choose, to share your experience with others during the event.
The focus on body awareness to explore the veils of habit or samskaras may help you gain new perspectives on your practice and your daily relational life.
Bhadra has been ordained for seventeen years. He works and teaches in the Bristol Buddhist Centre encouraging individuals to connect the clarity and challenging perspective of the Dharma to their daily life. He believes that our limitations and our potential are often most visible through communication and this drives his passion for creating and supporting Sangha; the network of those seeking to embody the Dharma in their relational lives.
Suitable for those who are familiar with our meditation practices.
Please bring vegetarian food for a shared dinner between 5.30-6.30pm.
$40 - all participants
Before attending, please read our current Covid Guidelines. This is part of how we practice together.
