Dharma Monday

The cutting edge of my practice

tight rope walker

At times Buddhism can seem like a mind-boggling range of practices. There are many different kinds of teachings, meditations, mindfulness exercises, ethical precepts, reflection practices, dharma study, sangha retreats, solitary retreats, friendship, altruistic work & so on. It would seem impossible for someone to be doing these all the time. So how does it actually work in real life? In this series of talks, some practitioners share their experience & inspiration on how they use these practices and, in particular, what is really working for them.

On this evening Robert Gonzalez and Amaradipa will both be sharing their personal reflections and experience of the cutting edge of their practice.

Dharma night is suitable for those who would like to learn more about Buddhism. It is also a popular night for regular friends to drop in and practice together. If you are a beginner but can't get to/or have just started one of our meditation classes, you are still welcome to come and join in.

The program for the evening is a talk on some aspect of Buddhism, tea break, then group meditation to end the evening.
