We will celebrate the vision this February of building the stupa at Sudarshanaloka twenty years ago. Why did we choose to build a seven-metre concrete monument up a bush valley in the Coromandel and why rejoice twenty years on?
Prajnalila and Akasamati will talk about the building of the stupa, how this brought our community together and how it continues to inspire practice on the land.
Dharma night is suitable for those who would like to learn more about Buddhism. It is also a popular night for regular friends to drop in and practice together. If you are a beginner but can't get to/or have just started one of our meditation classes, you are still welcome to come and join in.
The usual program for these evenings is a talk on some aspect of Buddhism followed by a tea break and a group meditation to end the evening.
