Dharma Monday

An evening with Abhaya

Abhaya

We are very fortunate to have Abhaya, a senior member of the Triratna Buddhist Order, visiting from the UK. He is a regular contributor to the artistic and literary sides of the movement. In addition to leading the 'Awakening to Beauty' Waitangi weekend retreat at Sudarshanaloka he will also be giving this public talk at the ABC.

On this evening we will also welcome home Chittamuni (ex Steve Kurmann) who has just returned from a month long Ordination retreat in India.

Dharma night is suitable for those who would like to learn more about Buddhism. It is also a popular night for regular friends to drop in and practice together. If you are a beginner but can't get to/or have just started one of our meditation classes, you are still welcome to come and join in.

The usual program for the evening is a talk on some aspect of Buddhism, tea break, then group meditation to end the evening.
