Contemplative Photography and Meditation Retreat

part of our Arts & Meditation retreat series

Fern Frond

Photography is a way of checking whether or not what you feel or think you see matches with what is caught in a photo. It provides us with an excuse and incentive to look more closely, to slow down and attend to the beauty around us. It helps us to let go of restlessness and grasping after achievement. The potential for greater mindfulness, sensitivity, and openness is quite tangible within the act of practicing photography.

This retreat draws inspiration from a book under the same title: Contemplative Photography

And we come together to use the act of practicing photography to come closer to ourselves, closer to others, and closer to the world around us. Please join us for the weekend.
