Buddhas in the mist

Tracking the trackless one - open sangha ‘rainy season’ retreat

Buddha in mist

Echoing the ‘rainy season’ retreats of the Buddha’s own time. Surrounded by timeless rivers, misty mountains and lush forest we gather together to enjoy a spacious, relaxing and inspiring exploration of themes from the Buddha’s life through storytelling and guided meditations. There will be enough free time for bracing walks, quiet reflection and mindfulness.

Simple hearty vegetarian food, sharing stories by the fireside, time to explore themes along your own path to discovery. A relaxing programme with space for reflection, mindfulness practice, walking, reading, bodywork and free time. Some of the meditation sessions will be guided.

The emphasis will be on creating a sense of friendly community over the weekend through practicing together.

Bring warm clothing, hat, scarf etc, wet weather gear, sturdy footwear, torch, meditation blanket and a favourite meaningful story.

Suitable for both beginners and those with some experience.
