A Buddhist life today

Creating effective conditions for freedom

Jnanadhara visits us from Dublin and will lead our February non-residential practice weekend on the theme of how we live an effective Buddhist life today.

50 years ago, our movement's founder Sangharakshita gave a series of talks in Brighton, UK, where he proposed core principles to living an effective Buddhist life in the modern West. Times and conditions have changed since then. How do we draw out the core principles and apply them to life today in Aotearoa, New Zealand?
