We re-open from Sunday 3 August!

Classes resume at our own centre

Front of the newly renovated Auckland Buddhist Centre

We have received our Certificate of Public Use from Auckland Council today, which means we can hold public classes in our own building after an eight month renovation project.

Order members and mitras are invited to a special ceremony tomorrow, Saturday 2 August at 4.30pm.

Our first public session will be Buddhist Recovery Network at 6pm on Sunday.

Please note that tomorrow's Saturday morning meditation class (2 August) remains at the Quaker Hall, 113 Mt Eden Road.

Come along to our public open day on Saturday 9 August from 11.30am until 4.30pm.

There will be some defect remediation and other details being finished up over the coming weeks, which may disrupt the occasional daytime class or chapter meeting. But by and large, we are back, folks!

A big thank you to the team at Crate Innovations Ltd and Stevens Lawson Architects, who have shepherded us through this project with skill and friendliness.
