Renovation & fundraising update

We've reached almost 40% of our fundraising target - that's $95,000! Amazing!
Why not get friends and family involved in some of our upcoming events? Have some fun or relaxation together, and spread the fundraising load. The more people we involve giving even small amounts, the quicker it all adds up.
Come along to a relaxing and healing sound bath at the centre this Saturday at 5pm, for example.
Or have a go (some of us have hopes of extending our finger painting skills) at Toni's painting class.

We know it's important and it's on our radar! Sthiraratna has been quietly looking into options over the last few months. We'll be discussing these at our upcoming ABC Council meeting in October.
How will we meet during the renovations?
We are hoping Order members and mitras will feel comfortable meeting in each other's homes during the renovation. And we're looking at options to have in-person meetings and hold some classes in community or hire spaces over that time. Money, of course, will be a challenge, as we'll have our building expenses to cover and hire fees on top. We're looking seriously into a couple of places at present, but do you have somewhere in mind? If so, get in touch and let us know. In an ideal world, it would be somewhere near the current centre, so we don't move suburbs too often (this means we gain and lose people with each move). At the least, transport and accessibility needs to be a factor.
