TONIGHT: Pulling Ourselves Together - Spiritual Integration

Over the course of our lives, we may notice that we have competing drives. We may want to be fitter, for example, but somehow never find the time to exercise. Our energy easily scatters, our mind leaps from one resolution to another and our brain is at the whim of competing internal drives. As a result, it’s easy to feel fragmented and lacking in a single driving purpose.

To overcome this, we need to find something that unites our intentions and energies. At a basic level, we need to “find ourselves” – who we are, what we stand for, and bring into alignment our thoughts, speech and actions in a way which is beneficial to ourselves and others.

Tonight Mary Anna and Robert will reflect on the what unifies their lives and how they “pull themselves together.”

Wednesday nights are a place for people who have attended our foundation courses to come together and celebrate community as well as an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Buddha's teaching, and their understanding of how to practice it.
