TONIGHT: Open For Business - Spiritual Receptivity
Most of us go through our lives in a rush. Taking care of family, earning a living, caring for our basic needs all take up large swathes of time. When we want to relax, we are often too energized to slow down, and continue to look for stimulation on social media or binging on streaming services.
What are we missing in the rush? Where is our life going and how deeply are we engaged with it? Spiritual receptivity is all about slowing down and creating an open spaciousness where we might fully experience our lives, the people in them, and the beauty to be found in nature and creativity. We find this state of openness and engagement imbues our lives with richness and meaning.
Suvarnadhi and Vajrasarasi will tonight reflect how they cultivate spiritual receptivity in their lives.
Wednesday nights are a place for people who have attended our foundation courses to come together and celebrate community as well as an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Buddha's teaching, and their understanding of how to practice it.
