Gearing up for the end of the year can be a stressful and distressing time for many, and that's on top of a year that has already proven to be unpredictable and challenging. In this series of talks we will focus on the ancient techniques taught by the Buddha to calm the mind and bring a peaceful heart to our circumstances.
Tonight Robert will focus on moving our awareness into the body. Most of us spend most of our lives in our head, with a result that we lose contact with any sense of inhabiting a body. Through coming back to our body, we ground ourselves in our experience and away from our over-active imaginations and unhelpful ruminations.
Robert will speak about the process of coming into the body and also lead some short practical exercises which can be used throughout the day.
