to join Dharma Monday online at 7pm
Tonight we have a special talk with Jnanadhara (who lives in Dublin, Ireland) and is President of both the Wellington and Auckland Buddhist Centre's.
Uncertain Times: a Teaching and an Opportunity
We find ourselves in a very different world to the one we were in only a short time ago. Circumstances have changed rapidly and drastically. It’s an uncertain world and, at times, a fearful one. As a Buddhist, the thought immediately presents itself – what would the Buddha say about this? What would he say about this profound upheaval and what it can teach us about the way things are? The format for the evening will be a talk followed by small discussion groups (say 15 minutes) and then a combined Q&A (15 minutes or so). The evening should end by 8:30pm.
Please 'arrive' early as this session may not be available to enter after 5 mins or so...
Dharma Night is suitable for everyone, regardless of their level of experience or exposure to Buddhism.
