Friday 20 March at 7pm at the Auckland Buddhist Centre
Join us this Friday as Jane shares, with images and discussion, impressions from the "Touching the Earth" tour of India she was on at the end of last year.
You will get a real sense of what it is like to walk in the footsteps of the Buddha, 2,600 year after he did. Now a very different place of course, but in these locations he is still clearly sensed. Thousands of years of reverence and ritual come to life through beautiful structures and artifacts, and the many pilgrims who continue to follow this path bring a real energy and spirit as they return to the land of the Buddha.
Come along for a fun night with friends, the opportunity to ask questions and discuss points of interest, and of course have a cup of tea and a biscuit or two.
There is no charge for this event, but any contributions made will go to the continuing fundraising appeal for the centre renovations we are now enjoying.
