Room available in women's community house
Do you have an interest in Buddhist practice or mindful living?
A room is available in the Triratna Auckland Buddhist women’s community household in Mt Albert.
We are three women living in a large 5 bedroom villa not far from the Auckland Buddhist Centre and close to the train station and public transport. We are open to women of any age who would enjoy living in a peaceful, friendly, and supportive home connected with the Buddhist community.
The household has a peaceful atmosphere with vegetarian/vegan cooking and shared meals during the week. Friends and visitors from the community occasionally pass through, and we value kindness, open communication, and harmonious shared living.
This would suit someone who has an interest in Buddhist practice or mindful living and would enjoy sharing a home environment to support that.
Costs are approximately:
$200/week rent
$80/week shared food (vegetarian/vegan household cooking)
$50/week utilities (reasonable use)
We are open to different lengths of stay, from around three months onward.
