Ordinations at Sudarshanaloka

Welcoming four new Order members

Four new Order members

A huge welcome to four new women Order members, ordained on the afternoon of April 1 at Sudarshanaloka.

At least two faces will be familiar to Aucklanders - in the centre, Viryashuri (ex-Marian) and Taradhi (ex-Annette). They were ordained on a month-long retreat along with Shraddharocani (ex-Tomoko, pictured left) and Gambhirachitta (ex-Lisa, pictured right) from Thames.  A big sadhu to all four wonderful women!

We hope to welcome Viryashuri and Taradhi back to the Auckland centre properly in May - fingers crossed for an orange traffic light!

Gambhirachitta (ex-Lisa) is a Sanskrit name meaning she who has a profound heart.
