The Buddhist Centre’s fundraising exhibition has been given a boost by the generous donation of two splendid pieces of jewellery by internationally recognised contemporaryjewellers Lisa Walker and Karl Fritsch – also known as Dhiramuni’s daughter and son-in-law.
They are among New Zealand’s most influential contemporary jewellers. Both have gained
international recognition for their work, work, which has been acquired for major public and private
collections in New Zealand and overseas.
Walker and Fritsch have each won the prestigious jury-selected Francoise van den Bosch Award, further cementing their influential roles in international contemporary jewellery.
The freshwater pearl necklace is priced at $1000 and the diamond ring at $2000.
