Expressing compassion and solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters

Our sincere condolences to friends and whanau of all those affected by the atrocities in Christchurch

Friday's events were beyond belief. As a Buddhist community we resonate with the vulnerability of a community violated in a sacred space of prayer.

The overwhelmingly compassionate response from so many New Zealand people and our government has been inspiring.

We'd like to express our solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters and our commitment to working towards a world where people of all faiths and ethnicities can live in safety and peace.
