Over the next three weeks on Dharma Night we will have talks from Order members and Mitras on Not Turning Away from the Difficult.
October 5- Recorded talk
The Practice of Not Turning Away
Ratnavyuha began this series when he spoke on the practice of not turning away in the Buddhist tradition. The Buddha himself learned to never turn away from his experience, but to turn towards it. On the night of his Enlightenment, the Buddha turned towards his cravings, his aversions and even his doubts. And in turning towards these sides of himself, he transformed them and then awoke to the true nature of Reality. We can walk in the Buddha's steps and practice not turning away.
