An update on our building renovations currently underway.
Yesterday, we resolved a conundrum drilling the three metre bore hole for a hydraulic disability lift. Our initial plans and equipment hit a major stumbling block a couple of weeks back, in the form of solid granite a metre into drilling. With a bit of research, we found Grouting Services had the right equipment to do the job, and happened to be working around the corner. Yesterday, they got the hole finished in about two hours. (We're pictured right at today's site meeting feeling relieved, but looking rather underwhelmed by the end result.)
The pre-nail framing continues to go up. And in the next month, we should get the electrical wiring and air conditioning in, and even the suspended curved ceilings for the shrine room and foyer.
In the background, the centre team continues to make exciting decisions around bathroom and light fittings!
