Wendy Faith

I attended Whitecliffe College of Art and Design and completed a Masters degree in 2010. My thesis subject was an exploration of contemporary spirituality in art.

Primarily a painter, the notion of transparency and opacity is key to my practice and is investigated, in particular, in the relationship between art and mind, and how light, shadow, ambiguity, juxtaposition, and degrees of disclosure create representations.

My current series of work has grown out of my involvement in maternal mental health with images representing the thoughts and feelings not necessarily evident to the outside world.
