Navachitta

Navachitta came in contact with Triratna in 1981 and was ordained in 1990. She founded the Buddhist Recovery Network Auckland in June 2011. She taught at the Auckland Buddhist Centre and ran retreats and workshops for both those in recovery from substance abuse and for the general public.

She worked in the addiction field and ran mindfulness courses and Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention groups for Residential Care Drug Rehab as well as for outpatient Community Alcohol and Drug Services.

Sadly Navachitta passed away on 30 November 2014.
